Listening plays a very vital role in teaching. To reach the students' hearts, to know their opinions and views and to understand them better, I, as the teacher should listen to them carefully. Teaching is not done by just talking and not knowing the students' concerns. It should be a two-way process. I, as the teacher should listen and observe keenly to know how the students respond to the teachings, thus I will know if my approach works or not, hinting me to stick to my approach or change it and devise another method or approach. I will also research well to know the students' needs. I think this makes my lessons/progr am unique. |
