My approach is felxible and is designed to accommodate explorative learning. As well as teaching the technical aspects of grammar and pronunciation , I encourage students to strive for freer, more fluent use of the language. Mistakes are seen as a natural part of the learning process and students are encouraged to express themselves as much as possible when speaking English.
As well as language, I also heighten students' appreciation of Western culture, which is beneficial whether you are planning to work/study in the English-speak ing world or to engage in future profesional or social interactions with English-speak ers. |

I believe the key to mastering a foreign language is confidence and interest. Once confidence is gained and there is no 'fear' attached to trying to communicate in the language learning and fluency can develop much more rapidly. Of course core grammar lessons are of vital importance, but along with this I aim to incorporate the vocabulary and topics that interest my students, therefore they can put the grammar they have learned to use in the social situations they would find themselves in. |
