I believe that learning is a life-long process and that in teaching you inevitably learn something. I feel it is important to assess a student's needs and interests and plan accordingly. For example if a student is interesed in swimming there is not much point in disscussing golf with them all the time. |

I use a Communicative and Lexical Approach to teaching. My lessons always have a clear aim and the students comes out of it knowing exactly what they need to study to make the most of their lesson. Most of the exercises I use are student-cente red which gives the learner lots of speaking practice. The lessons are very well-structur es to ensure a focused and logical approach to learning. |
