Educationally I hold a Masters degree and a diploma in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). I also hold numerous certificates for preparing international students for English exams and for tutoring English online classes. My native accent comes from the south east of England but I can teach north American English as well (both are fine for IELTS). I am a languages teacher in La Paz. I have taught Spanish for 20 years now and have taught English before that also. I have worked as a free lance, teaching only Spanish for such a long time. I created a private Spanish school a few years later I started teaching, and I got a great part of my students through my school's website, travellers' guidebooks and multiple recommendatio ns as well.
Conseq uently, I have a lot of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. I developed my own particular teaching style by having pleasant conversations and discussions with my students during the lessons and transmitting them my knowledge of the language to thousands of them all of this time.
I think that my teaching method and style has been quite effective with most of the students who approached to me looking for Spanish instruction and I feel I have done a great job contributing with the growing population of Spanish speakers in the world, who speaks Spanish as a second language.
