IELTS WRTITING TASK 1

• Spend a few moments studying the flow chart or diagram and preparing your answer
• Make sure you understand what the important stages of the flow chart or diagram are.
• find a place to begin and work your way through
• include all the stages in your description
• make sure that u r aware of any stages that happen at the same time
• use the present simple tense to describe the process
• use any notes on the diagrams but paraphrase them
• vary your vocabulary. Use synonyms
• organise your ideas clearly
• a conclusion is not necessary for this
• introduction will introduce the processs and give an ovrview to summarise its ovrall function.
• body will describe the process or flow chart in a logical manner.
• use sequence expressions such as first of all, after that, at the same time, concurrently,
• don't copy phrases from the instruction book
• don't take more than 20 minutes
• cross out errors in one line only, write neatly
• leave a couple of minutes to read through
• do not express your opinions, that will be considered irrelevant
