If a rose has 2 names, (a Place or Latin name next to 'rose'), then it must be special! Doesn't 'Damascus Rose' sound wonderful? The names of paint colours or other products does make a difference as to whether people buy them. Is your name nice in other languages? Mine is too hard to say. Not all roses smell sweet. Some have heavenly fragrances, especially when it is humid (hot air with much water).
