I want to learn the language because I love the movies and the music and I also love the respect that they give the elders. I have tried the cd's and I can pretain some of it but I learn better one on one. I really want to learn because I am praying that one day I will be able to go to Korean, China and Japan and I want to be able to commuicate with some intelligents. I love the music and I understand some of the words and they use words that we would not even think of puting in a song. I pray someone see that I am trully serious about learning this language and I hope I can afford the classes. Thank you for listening to me. I will need someone with patience and I am willing to put as much time in it that is necessary for me to reach my goal.

I am currently living in India and when I return to California I would very much like to continue with developing my Hindi skills. Learning new languages is a personal interest of mine. I am currently at an absolutely beginner level. I would like to gain a greater understanding of Hindi grammer in particular as I feel that this will allow me to better use my vocabulary. As a graduate student I do not have a tremendous amount of time to dedicate to language learning, perhaps 3 hours per week. To be honest the number one concern for me in finding a teacher is someone who is affordable and who can work with my busy schedule.
