I am a native English speaker. I have some experience with Spanish, (3 years of high school and one semester in college which was about 8 years ago.) I have also taken a semester of French, (though very little is retained.) I have taken diction classes in German and Russian. I am considering a trip to the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, (Chennai) and would also like to learn Hebrew. I would love to learn any language that might help me in India.
I live about 30 minutes south of Nashville and would be willing to travel to Nashville once per week.
I am a visual learner and will want to understand the basis of the alphabet as well as grammar and cultural contexts.

Hello,
I am very interested in learning more sign language with the goal of becoming an interpeter. I studied ASL at a college in New York many years ago and really enjoyed it and learned lot. All of my instructors were deaf so it was a challenge that I really appreciated. I have had Sign language levels 1-5, Deaf Heritage and Dactology. Needless to say I am very out of practice because I haven't had anyone to work with. I am willing to devote as much time as needed so that I can become more proficent in my receptive skills.

I do not know any Greek at all. I am very interested in learning the language because my Dad is Greek and his whole side of the family lives in Greece. I would like to be able to carry a conversation so I can talk to my cousins and grandparents. I cannot find any place that teaches Greek. I am interested in learning to the level of conversation, no matter how long that takes me. I am willing to dedicate a few hours a week. I am looking that my teacher is fluent enough in the language to help me. I would also like to learn it for career advancement, and I would like to be able to write it as well. I am looking to start a.s.a.p. Thank you!
