I'm planning on going to Thailand for a week this September to help out at an orphanage. I would like to learn how to speak some Thai before I go so I can communicate with the children there. I would probably have 3 hours a week to dedicate to learning the language, possibly more. I just want to learn how to speak it, I'm currently not interested in writing or reading it.

I am a beginner at learning Chinese. I just got back from China. I was there for one semester studying international business and Chinese at Xiamen University through my school in the States. I am a complete neophyte with the Gaelic language but it is always something that has attacted me growing up in the Irish neighborhood of Syracuse. I am willing to travel up to 1 hour from Syracuse for classes but if that were to be the case, I'd prefer a classroom setting. If there is no one who is a member of this organization that can meet my needs, but knows of where I might enroll in classes in Syracuse and could direct me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative.
