My name is Jessenia, I'm currently studying abroad in Shanghai, China. I've been studying Chinese for 2 years and I'm considered an advanced student in my study abroad program. I can speak fluidly, but the vocabulary is very simple, I started learning Chinese because I wanted to try something new and I now want to continue learning Chinese when I return home because I have fallen in love with China, an intense love that I cant describe, I want to be as fluent as I can be and I just want someone with a standard accent to help me achieve that goal, but because I'm a student my funds are limited.

I have taken two semesters of college level Russian. My hope is to one day become a language interpreter for the United Nations or maybe work for the government. I feel that i need help in understanding parts of speech. I would like to start from the beginning and start with pronunciation and parts of speech. I would like become fluent in Russian so i wouldn't mind spending as many hours as needed working on my language. Atleast 2-3 hours a day would be ideal. I would like to work with a teacher who is patient and wouldn't mind teaching me things until i get them. I want someone who is willing to work with me and make sure that i understand all the lessons and also someone who really enjoys teaching.

I am engaged to a man living in East Sussex, who is originally from Wales. His family lives near Swansea, and I would like to learn some conversationa l Welsh. Iw ill be traveling there for a month immediately after Christmas, and I thought 6 month would be enough time to at least get a start...I learn languages very quickly and I am a good student.
I have given the language a good look, and it will be a challenger for me, as it is not a romance language. The pronunciation aspect will be the most difficult for me. Is it possible to place individual letter sounds into IPA? I am fluent in that, andit would greatly help me.
I am in graduate school right now, but my spring term is nearly complete, and Iw ill not be in classes over the summer, so you have my undivided attention.
The things I am looking for in the lessons are practically applied conversationa l material. I am in need of a teacher who is patient and up for an interesting student.

I would definetly be classified as a beginner. I am learning japanese because I love the culture,have great respect for the people, and am attracted to challenges. I want to dedicate possibly up to two hours of lesson time once a week. I am looking for a nice teacher who can read and write well in japanese as well as speak fluently.
