I am a beginner in Arabic. I have taken the 101 level in college and learned all of the script, although I have not practiced in a while. 102 is not available during the Fall semester of college, so I would like to learn as much as I can over the summer, in order to possibly take the 201 class.
I would like to become more proficient in Arabic in order to enrich myself and I am considering a job with the government, so a foreign language is a must.

I have always wanted to learn Arabic and after spending the last 2 weeks in Egypt with my best friend I decided to move foward with my learning. I want to be able to master the basic everyday conversationa l skills whether it is asking directions or ordering food. From there I guess I will see where it goes. I would hope that one day I could be fluent in the language. I am looking for a teacher who makes learning a language fun. I would also say a teacher with a lot of patience would probably be ideal because going from a romance language to a language where everything is spoken in the back of your throat is extreamly difficult for me. If you could get back to me I would appreciate it.
