Hi Edd! My name is Christine and I do live here in Sacramento California. I see that you're all the way in Maryland, the other side of the country, that's too bad.
I am interested in learning Quechua because I am going to Peru next year in June, and I want to be able to have a general idea of what is being talked about, and be a little more independent in a foreign country. I am so taken by Peru and the culture, and traditions, it's a dream of mine to go there.
I see that you are the only who teaches Quechua, my question is: is there anyone that you can refer to me that lives here in California? Preferably the Sacramento, or Northern area of California? I appreciate you reading this message, and I'm so excited to learn a little of the language, so far I know Pachamama :-), and thats about it! I want to learn so much more.

This is a re-submit of previous try, that I'm not sure if it went thru OK.
I need to learn Japanese language and be able to use it for work. I work in a software industry and visit Japan very often, that I like to be able to converse with my customers using Japanese. I also like to read Japanese documents. I prefer to have private sessions, in order to learn as fast as possible.

I am an art teacher and I have a small amount of proficiency in colloquial Spanish (learned from friends, in conversation with Spanish speaking friends, but never took a real class.) I am very interested in studying Spanish intensively during my summer break, so that I when I begin at a new school this fall I can converse with my Spanish speaking students with some level of confidence. i am a cerified ESL teacher as well and I teach ESL classes to adults in a volunteer program, and since the majority of my students are from Mexico and Central/South America, fluency in Spanish would also be useful for me with those students. I am available day or evening, although I prefer days, every day June through August, except for 1 week of out of town vacation. I am looking for a teacher who can help me learn the most Spanish I can in one summer!
