I am a beginner in Japanese. What little I have learned has been picked up from Japanese animation, Japanese Rock and Japanese Pop songs.
I would like to learn Japanese so that I can go to Japan and feel comfortable visiting historical sites and taking in the beauty of Japan.
I need improvement in all areas as I am just a beginner.
I would like to dedicate two or more hours a week to my lessons.
I am looking for someone who enjoys the language and makes it fun and easy to learn. Someone who has patience and doesn't mind going over something several times before I get it.

I have never studied French before. I want to spend this year learning to speak and read French prior to applying to a graduate program in school. I want to dedicate between an hour and two hours a week to learning French, depending on the cost. The most important thing for me is having an instructor that is patient and someone who will teach me the proper way to speak French as well as proper grammar.

I am an absolute beginner. My fiance is a Turkish student, and we plan to travel to Turkey this summer to meet his family. His parents speak no English, so I want to make sure I can at least have basic conversation with them.
Sinc e I have a limited time, and a very high motivation, I am interested in spending at least one hour every day studying the Turkish language. I will need mostly practice speaking and understanding , rather than reading and writing, which can wait until later.
I am looking for a qualified teacher who will present the information in an organized and practical manner.

I am a beginning Thai language student, looking to gain proficiency in order to possibly move to Bangkok next year. I've tried to teach myself a few basic phrases and have visited Bangkok once, but I really need more formal, one-on-one instruction.
I guess that conversationa l skills are my top priority, but I'd also like to learn the written language and reading skills as well.
I am willing to devote as much time as needed for lessons, within a reasonable price range, but certainly once or twice a week for private lessons.
I would hope for a native Thai speaker with the Bangkok dialect and fluent in english.
