II am adult student of Spanish looking for the opportunity to spend time once or twice a week in study and conversation practice. One on one instruction or a small group setting would be fine. My interest is mainly hobbyist ( I like to travel and etc ) but I have occassionally used my skills in business as well. I travel for work fairly often and thus have a hard time scheduling traditional classes.
I 'm not sure how to rate my current ability. I have used a number of commercially available learning materials with varying degrees of success. I attended a language school in Costa Rica for a short time a few years ago and also took Spanish 101 at a Jr. College in Texas last year ( I didn't learn much there ). I feel that I have a sound grasp of basic grammar and can usually express myself fairly well in the language but I still have a difficult time understanding native speakers.

I'm a beginner looking to learn Russian for the purpose of communicating with my girlfriends parents in Russia but also for establishing business contacts in Russia.
