I am actually inquiring for my son who is 19 and will be leaving for the Navy in June 2010. He has passed exams to become a linguist and wants to learn Russian. After boot camp he will be going to language school in Monterrey, CA. There he will be tested again for a language and I would like for him to get his choice of language and learning as much as he can now will help. Thus, my question would be how much can he leran in the next few months, how often and how much.
