I have spent about six months in Russia for the last several years doing charity work and so I understand some Russian, speak less Russian, but need to improve my fluency and have someone who can take the grammer slowly because I am a senior citizen and find grammar very challenging.
I have a Basic Russian course but without a tutor I find there are things I do not understand and I need someone who can give me examples rather than just have me memorize lists which mean nothing to me!

I have travelled to Egypt twice in the past two years and will be going back again in 2010. My trips are for pleasure. I have developed friendships with several Egyptians and want to be able to converse with them and others in Arabic. I have learned some Arabic in preparation for my trips to Egypt and just by being in the country, but my language skills are very basic right now. I would like to improve my conversationa l skills and I would like to be able to read the language too. The amount of time I have to devote to my study of Egyptian Arabic will vary depending on my workload, but I am willing to do what it takes to become more proficient. I am looking for a teacher who is experienced and patient. Would be nice if he or she had a sense of humor too.
