I have no prior experience with Georgian. I am trying to gain some basic language skills before going to live there for the academic year of 2008-2009 to do graduate research.
I would like to focus on conversationa l skills primarily, and could devote up to 4 hours/wk this summer 2008.
I would like a teacher who will meet with me in person, be patient, engaging, and work with me to decide what sorts of culture and vocabulary will be most useful.
I have 3 years experience with Russian, so anyone who also speaks Russian, and would be able to help me develop those conversationa l skills as well, would be a plus.
