I'm a complete beginner, no Mandarin experience whatsoever. I'm interested in becoming as proficient as possible because I plan on moving to Shanghai in the fall of 2008. I am a Lebanese american. I have been around the language all of my life and I can understand arabic better than I speak it. I would like to learn for conversationa l purposes and for business as well and I am willing to dedicate 2 to 3 hours a week to learn.
