I am a beginner in Japanese. I have not participated in any types of school or class to learn Japanese. I have only looked through books trying to learn Japanese. Learning Japanese has always been an interest for me, but there is no chance for me to do so as I have been moving around. During the course of learning Japanese, I would like to learn how to speak, read, and write.

I am a beginner in Japanese. I don't know much, but I want to learn the Kyoto Dialect rather than the Tokyo Dialect. Which I hear are as almost different languages. I began Tokyo Dialect, but I didn't get very far.
I have always wanted to learn Japanese. I can read Hiragana easily, I can identify certain Katakana with ease and others I would have to think about for a moment and know very limited amounts of Kanji. Because of my former learning, I can speak Japanese better than I can write, but I've been practicing lately and I've made progress! I would be willing to dedicate a lot to my lessons, because I've been wanting to learn for such a long time, I would not skimp out on lessons.
As for my teacher, as I stated, I prefer to learn the Kyoto Dialect, so I would hope that my teacher is able to teach that. But if nobody is able to teach Kyoto Dialect, I would also settle for Tokyo. As long as it's Japanese, I'd be willing to learn it!
