I want to learn Irish to a proficient degree, both reading and writing. I have taken a college course in the language. It was an introductory course and, unfortunately , I have forgotten most of it. I stopped taking the course, not out of lack of interest, but because I moved away from the area and have not found an instructor to continue. With my current schedule I feel that I can dedicate an average of 1-2 hours a day on learning the language. I am interested in finding an instructor who can guide me using books, flashcards and, most importantly, conversation, in learning the language.

My proficiency level is beginner. I would like to learn Mandarin in order to learn more about my culture and for career advancement. Since I am a beginner with extremely minimal experience and knowledge in this language, I feel that I need improvement in all areas. I am willing to dedicate the time necessary to my lessons. Hopefully, in the area of a couple of hours a week. I am looking for a teacher that is knowledgeable but also patient and enthusiastic.
