I would like to learn Pashto in order to communicate with my fiance and his family. I do not speak any Pashto right now, and I do not have a timeframe in which the language must be learned--it is likely to be something that goes on until I reach a level of proficiency in which I can communicate effectively and confidently. I am looking for a teacher that can help me focus on spoken Pashto--I am not especially concerned with reading the language.

My proficiency level is an advanced beginner, I have taken 3 semester of arabic at San Diego State University over a year ago. I would like to take this course for a future business career, but also to learn more about the Arabic culture. I have a strong foundation in Arabic reading and writing. I need help with all aspects of the spoken language. I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to gain a conversationa l and cultural understanding of the language and people. I need a teacher who is willing to work with me and take time to explain why I am doing something correctly or how to improve. Upon completion of the course, I will attend American University in Dubai for the summer program beginning July 3, 2008.
Plea se send me a description of you two and three week program including travel within the area and accomadations . Photos would be helpful.
I f you have any prior english speaking students in the United States or elsewhere that I can contact that would be helpful.

Hello I have had a beginning Spanish class in the Spring and am looking to advance my skills. I am learning for fun and to keep my brain from getting too old too fast. I need improvement in grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening. 2 hours a week of instruction would be great.
The best teacher is someone who speaks spanish fluently (esp Puerto Rican dialect)
