Hello,
I started learning Thai in August of 2013, by myself. I'm looking for more formal training online with a teacher. I'm learning Thai because of the passion I have for the food and people. I help at a Thai restaurant, and have Thai friends that I would like to speak Thai with. I will be traveling in the near future to Thailand as well, and would like to be able to communicate with native speakers on a basic level.
I would classify myself as a beginner. I've learned quite a bit of the basics on my own, but want help reaching the next level.
My reading and writing are better than my speaking currently. Grammar and general conversation is what I'd like to focus on.
I was studying for about 1 hour-a-day, but I can commit more if needed. I'm wanting to delve further into my learning.
I would like a teacher that is easy to talk to and help with questions I have. I would prefer a native Thai, but as long as they can teach well, I'm happy.

I want to learn how to speak Vietnamese in order to further my career in pharmacy. I am currently in pharmacy school and I would love to visit Vietnam for pharmacy intern hours. I am willing to dedicate one hour every day. I attend school and I work, so a teacher is available around 9pm any day would be ideal. Type of qualities is that I am looking for in a teacher is availability and friendly would be helpful.

I am wanting to Learn Japanese at the moment mainly because its my goal to move to Japan and live their.
I am a Beginner, and only know a few phrases mainly learned through anime/mange.
In all areas i feel i would need Improvement, especially in learning to write in Japanese.
I would like to dedicate at least 1-2 hours a week.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient, easy to understand, and willing to take the extra step in helping me learn the language to its fullest, so that i may get to a point where i can freely and naturally understand and speak the language.
