I have studied Arabic before but it has been years, so I would describe my level as beginner or second level beginner. There may be career opportunities for me eventually with Arabic language skills but I wish to learn Arabic at this time because I am interested in the language, culture, and history of the Middle East. I feel I need improvement in all areas, but primarily in conversation. I would like to dedicate one hour per week to my language lessons. Hello,
I found your listing on this site as being a Tamil teacher and am very interested in taking classes.
I am a first year medical student at UT Southwestern in Dallas and am learning Tamil in order to attempt to open a health clinic in a small rural village in Tamil Nadu very near Madurai. I would like to have a good command of Tamil before going there this upcoming summer.
Bo th of my parents are immigrants to the U.S. from Madras. I am a native Tamil speaker and used to speak when I was a child but have forgotten in the English schooling process. I can still understand when my parents speak to me but have trouble constructing sentences.
If you could help me learn (or regain) this ability, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
