I am an American born Chinese and my parents are fluent in both Cantonese and Toisanese, but never taught me any Chinese at all. I would like to improve my conversationa l Cantonese so I would be able to talk to my extended family and the interact with the community around me. I would also love to travel to Guangdong and Hong Kong someday, but not until I have a better grasp on the language. I would be able to dedicate as much time as needed to learning.

beginner, my husband is Indian and speaks Punjabi, I have been to India once and learned only a few phrases and want to learn more; I want to start the process of learning this Fall 2007 if possible and learn some basics to start with. I am trying to learn Chinese Mandarin and just began a class. However, because of my travel to Taiwan I sometimes miss the class. I need a tutor in Taiwan for a week or weekend. I will be traveling to Taiwan every other month.
If interested in tutoring me, I will need 3 to 4 hour sessions after working hours.
