Beginner. I am learning because I am going on a mission trip to Ukraine (I have been there 2 times prior) and I am very interested in learning the language. I would like to be able to communicate with the people in Ukraine as much as possible without a translator. I would like to dedicate an hour or two weekly in lessons and am open to homework outside of classes to improve my skills. I am most effective at retaining information in a classroom setting. I would like to learn everything there is to know about the language; sentence structure, grammar, polite and informal ways of saying things, and how to write. I do know the Ukrainian alphabet already and how to sound out words, but I would like to understand what the words mean.
I am looking for a teacher who can be patient. Someone who can help me understand and go slower if need be. I am going to seminary right now and I have a job so I have a busy life, but I am very passionate about learning and having someone who can help me and take the time for me to understand before moving on to other subjects.

I'm interested in learning Italian. My proficiency level is beginner, I have no prior schooling or learning of the language. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, with Spanish being my first language but I am currently more proficient in Engish. I'm interested in learning as many languages as I possibly can and I decided to begin with Italian due to it's relation to Spanish. I'm 28 years old and I have discovered that I learn best with live sessions rather than though the internet. I would be intersted in 2-3 sessions per week and to be provided with resources that I my be able to use on my own to help with my progress.

Hello! I am a beginner student of Japanese who up to this point has been self taught through books and podcasts. I have taught myself to read most Hiragana/Kata kana, some Kanji, and learned the basics of language and culture. I am very passionate about this language, and would like to learn enough to integrate it into my career as a Graphic Designer. I would like to explore lessons in person, either 1 on 1 or in a small group. The biggest challenge is where I live, there is not many teachers or classes in my area. I would be willing to drive up to an hour away for the right teacher.

My proficiency level is beginner.
I want to learn Ukrainian because I am Ukrainian and my parents never taught me. They spoke only English to me when I was young. I feel a need to learn the language of my people.
I need help with all levels of Ukrainian. I do know the alphabet, but I have great difficulty with grammar and understanding what I hear.
Beca use I work and I am in a doctoral program for psychology, my time is limited, I can only spare one hour's time per week with a tutor.
I want practical, everyday conversationa l lessons.
I need a teacher who is very patient. I have had bad teachers in the past who were very impatient and it has made me afraid of learning Ukrainian. I also need a lot of practice listening to spoken Ukrainian so I can learn to understand what I hear.
