I have completed the full Series (Program Level III) of the Pimsler Language Program. I travel to Costa Rica every month as I have some real estate development there.
I need to practice my speaking skills, with particular emphasis on learning more vocabulary and understanding verb use in the various tenses...espe cially past and future tense.
I an spend three to four hours per week, but they must be on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I am not in Las Vegas on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Conversationa l Spanish in everyday life. That is what I am looking for. More speaking about anything and everyting in daily life.

I have a desire to start learning the Russian language. Currently, I am a student at North Harris College in the Spring side of Houston, studying to be a licensed American Sign Language interpreter for the Deaf. I would gain an associate's degree in the interpreting program. Afterwards, I'm wanting to transfer to University of Texas in Austin in Fall 2008/Spring 2009 to major in Russian studies and Russian history for my bachelor's. I want to start learning now so that I will have a good background in the Russian language before I get to UT in Austin.

I am a beginer, and I would like to learn a little punjabi, because I married a punjabi man. I am an american and only know my language and my family language which is english and spanish. If you can help me learn a little punjabi, I will be very greatfull. what I am looking for in my teacher is to have patience for me during my learning sessions. I will try my best to learn. If I were to give my current knowledge of Japanese, I would say I am in the border line of beginner, and intermediate. I am better then beginner, but not to far in intermediate. My Kanji knowledge is basic,but I would like to learn more.I know Hiragana and Katakana. However, Katakana is somewhat hard for me, since I learn hiragana first. I am mostly working on grammer, verbs vocabulary, and speaking as it is right now, But I would most defiantly like to improve in all areas. Speaking, Kanji, grammer, verbs, ect.
I am learning Japanese so that I can go to Japan and teach English. Languages are my passion, and Japanese is the main language I have wanted to learn since I was little. It is a plan my cousin and I have formed that when we are done high school, we will take our ESL and such needed to go to Japan, but I thought that getting tutored will be not only a wise thing to do, but fun. I really enjoy this language and the culture.
I would love to dedicate all my time to learning this language, but I am still in high school. So anytime after school/ school activities, or the weekends is perfect.
T he qualities I am looking for in a teacher consist as follows:
I would love someone with humor and experience in what my career goal is. Someone who will make things, of corse, fun. Someone who will be patient with me, because with kanji, I have a hard time remembering them. But am getting better. So manly anyone with a sense of humor, and is friendly. (of corse, I suppose being a teacher as it is means that you have those qualities heh heh~)Plus someone who is knowledgeable about Japan its self. Also a teacher who approaches teaching in many different ways. I am good for anything! and am willing to learn! I am flexible.
