Greetings,
I am very interested in learning Spanish. I need to start at the beginning as I have no knowledge of the language. I need to learn this language so I can advance in my career. I work in the construction industry and knowing the Spanish language would definitely be an asset. I am an immediate contact with field crews, some who are Spanish speaking only. If I learned Spanish, this would boost my career. I am definitely passionate about learning this language. I would also like to learn Spanish not only for my career but overall I think it would be a good tool to have in life.
I am willing to devote several hours a week to learning Spanish. Three to four days a week would be ideal. And homework as well. In essence, however much time is needed to learn I am willing to give. I am interested in private lessons. One on one with a teacher. I am a fast learner and I look forward to learning a new language.

During the past two years, I have spent half my time in the
Netherla nds with my partner. He speaks excellent American
Eng lish, so we can communicate. However, as we have a committed relationship and I am very happy in Amsterdam, I
feel it is time for me to learn his language and the language of his beautiful country. I do not expect to become
fluen t, as Dutch is a difficult language for English speakers, but I want to be able to converse with his friends,
mak e my way around in the native language, and learn more
about the culture of the Netherlands through the language.
I am a complete beginner. I am looking for a tutor who is
patient, gentle, helpful in conversation and pronunciation
rather than perfect grammar, and can educate me in cultural
sla ng and chat-ability. I especially want to learn the
'Amsterd am Dutch', as that is where my partner lives.

My parents are from Poland and speak primarily Polish at home. I have forgotten a lot since I do not regularly speak the language. I would like to become more proficient at reading/writi ng/speaking in order to stay in better contact with relatives that still live in Poland. My company has also started an operation in Poland and there may be a future opportunity for me to travel and do some work there. At this point, I am looking to take a class a couple of times per week.
