Earlier this summer I took a six-week intensive course in Mandarin that focused mainly on reading and writing. I would like to improve my speaking and listening abilities before I study abroad in Beijing in the Fall. I will be in the Philadelphia area for 2-3 weeks and I would like to meet 2 or 3 times a week until I leave to improve my conversationa l Mandarin. I'm looking for a teacher who will teach me useful phrases and help me with my pronounciatio n, as well as provide me with language exercises so I can practice between sessions. Most of all I am excited about Chinese language and culture and I love to learn.

i took french 101 in high school but i'm pretty much a beginner. i'm learning foreign languages to help further my career. i need improvement in all aspects of the languages. i'm trying to do full time lessions so i can star working. i'm very dedicated. i'm just looking for someone who can help me understand and conversate with people in the languages i'm wanting to learn.
