FRANKLY I JUST WANT TO LEARN A THIRD LANGUAGE BECAUSE I FEEL THAT IT MIGHT BE BENEFICIAL TOWARDS MY CAREER IN ARCHITECTURE, AND I FEEL THAT FRENCH IS A GOOD LANGUAGE TO LEARN. AS I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A FRENCH COURSE IN MY LIFE I ASSUME I WOULD BE AT A BEGINNER LEVEL.I WOULD LIKE TO FOCUS ON GRAMMAR AND CONVERSATION (MOSTLY CONVERSATION) . I WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE AT LEAST AN HOUR OR TWO A WEEK TO THE TUTORING AND I'D LIKE TO LEARN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

I enjoy learning languages as a hobby. I am mainly interested in the following: Swiss-German, Welsh(advance d, need to work on fluency and vocab), any Scandinavian language(I'm conversationa l in Danish), any Slavic language(1 year of Russian, happy to learn more or another language), Finnish, Hungarian. I am a fast learner and very much enjoy learning grammar.
I have taught and tutored German(attend ed German school as a child, BA in German). I specialize in explaining the grammar to students who have trouble understanding it.
The qualities I am looking for are friendly, encouraging sessions for a reasonable price, a teacher who knows well and can explain the grammar, and someone who is flexible as I don't always want a rigid lesson plan.

I've studied Basque (batua) by myself a little with the following books: Bakarka (v. 1), Routledge Colloquial Basque, and King's The Basque Language. I've traveled to Euskadi where I tried out a few phrases. I speak and regularly use other Iberian languages and would like to progress with Basque, although I have limited time.
I think in order to progress beyond the first few chapters of any book it would help to be in contact with a native speaker with experience teaching the language. I'm intrigued at the prospect of being tutored over a computer but not sure how well it would work.
It would be nice if the tutor had access to one of the books I mentioned above, so that we could work through one of them together, but I'm open to other methods also.
