Hello,
I am interested in learning to speak/write Arabic. I would be considered a beginner, since I have no knowledge of the language. I will be enrolling in a Graduate Program in Diplomacy soon, and I think that learning to speak Arabic would be very advantageous for me. Hopefully, I will be able to work for the United Nations or any other organization that would allow me to put my skills to use.
I look forward to learning this beautiful language and to learn about the different cultures who speak it.

I studied Norwegian at the University of Oregon for three years in the mid-80s. I found those skills very helpful during my 3 weeks visiting relatives in Norway in 1986, but haven't really used them since. I'm planning to take a trip to Norway with my cousin and our husbands next summer, so I'd like to brush up my grammar, vocabulary and conversation skills.
