I represent an organization that is looking for an experienced Spanish instructor in the Baltimore area for a contract course. The learners are beginners who are learning Spanish in order to improve work performance. We need somebody beginning in a few weeks. I have never studied Arabic before and don't even know how to say hello. I want to learn Arabic for 'career advancement' as I am currently an RN interested in international health care (I have spent the past 3 years working in Central America and am fluent in Spanish). I am planning to begin studying at UPenn for my Family Nurse Practioner degree this fall and hope to do some international work in Arab-speaking countries when finished.
I am currently planning in purchasing the Rosetta Stone in Arabic and partaking in self learning before beginning one-on-one classes. Once I am finished with the Rosetta Stone (November??) I hope to have classes at least twice a week.
I am looking for a teacher with patience for new students who is available in the evenings. I also prefer a female, although will be willing to have a male teacher if he is patient and professional.
