I am an intermediate beginner in Kiswahili and I am a college student who is needing some outside help to improve my skills in this language. I am not only learning the language for school but I am also looking to use this langauge in my career in the future.
I need general help with the language: a deeper understanding of the grammer and more frequent usage of the langauge in converstation .
I am willing to dedicate 2 days a week to it at least but I am very flexible and am willing to work with the schedule of my tutor as well.
I look for a tutor who knows the language inside and out and is patient enough to work with me to be proficient in the langauge. I look for a tutor with experience teaching Kiswahili and who has an understanding of what it takes to get to the point where one has learned a langauge. It is really important to me that the tutor has more than a linguistic understanding of the language but also knows and has experience in the culture.
I am anxious to get started as soon as possible!
