Interested in face-to-face instruction at the beginning level for conversationa l Mandarin Chinese for the purposes of personal enrichment and the possiblity of travel to China. Requested location for lessons is in a private residence for two, possibly three adult learners. We are flexible regarding time dedicated to language lessons and request recommendatio ns from the instructor regarding typical length of each lesson, frequency of lessons, and total duration of a beginner's language course. We prefer availability during weekdays in the morning, perhaps around 10:30 or 11:00am. Otherwise, the main quality we are looking for in an instructor is to be able to understand their English if they are a native Chinese teacher.

I am interested in learning Swahili because it has always seemed like it would be cool to me. I do not currently know any Swahili. I would like to spend maybe a half-hour to an hour a few times a week learning Swahili. I am a very dedicated student and am doing very well in my Spanish class at school. As long as my teacher speaks English, Swahili and has taught Swahili before, I think they have all the qualities I am looking for in a teacher.
