I am a beginner learning Spanish. I have had only one basic class, but I am motivated. I am learning Spanish to improve my understanding of the world. I can read a newspaper or magazine and have a basic comprehension . I can converse, but haltingly. I need a larger vocabulary, better face-to-face conversationa l skills, and more command of verbs.
I am looking for a personal tutor for myself and my wife, who is also learning. I would like to spend 2-3 hours per week with a tutor (and will do homework on my own)

I am curently attending the University of Minnesota. I have taken one year of Italian language there, and some Italian culture as well as Ancient Italian and Roman history. I am interested in becoming fluent in the Italian language, however need to take other classes at the U of M during the time slots that the Italian class is offered. I would like to work on becoming more fluent grammatically and to improve my vocabulary and accent. I would also like to learn how to write and read Italian better. I am exploring all my options and would like to take this oppurtunity to open myself to the possibility of hiring a private tutor.

I cannot speak a word of Danish but have hopes of living in Denmark, or at least traveling there after college (or during) and would like someone to teach me basic grammar and vocabulary, preferably focusing on a conversationa l method. I would say that I am still a beginner, but I did live in Korea for 2 1/2 years and 1 1/2 of those years I was actually an ESL teacher for a couple hagwons. I would like to learn the language because I developed a passion for Korea and I would really like to go back to live their for the rest of my life and I believe it is crucial that I learn the language. I would like to be able to dedicate at least 2-4 hours a week to learning Korean. If I have more money I will dedicate more time. I am just looking for a tutor that can meet with me either on the weekends or during the week in the evening otherwise I am a quick learner and believe that a teacher will enjoy teaching me!
