I just moved to Texas several months ago and I would like to continue learning chinese. I had some background in Chinese as I took chinese class for 3 semesters during my underdgraduat e study. I prefer someone who had experience as a teacher at any institution, but I'm open to any good teacher.

I am doing second year Latin, and it is an independent study summer class that I have to finish by 9/20/2006. I just need someone for blocks of time to sit with me on my class (it goes quickly) and check my work, as well as answer and walk me through any questions I come up with while working. I will do all day weekends, and weekdays from 6p. I need a qualified teacher, most availability possible, and responsible to get there on time.

I have had two years of Arabic study, however I still consider myself very much at the beginner level.
I am looking to study overseas for periods of 2 weeks (initially) at a time (due to my work schedule). Eventually, I plan to study full-time for a period of 3-6 months.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient, and who builds Arabic culture and history information into the lesson, if possible.

My daughter lived in Czech Republic for one year, five years ago, and picked up the language fairly easily, but has not used it since. I think she should start out beginner, but will quickly move to intermediate level. I would like for her to have a tutor for three days a week until she leaves, starting immediately.

-I would consider myself a beginner still. I am learning to write traditional chinese on my own. I can read and write some words,I have a good ear for the language and good pronounciatio n I have been told by natives. I have my school books and more or less know the phonetics they teach kids in Taiwan(bu bu mo fo..).
-I still need some help with the tones and also need practice in conversation.
-I would study two hours a week with a tutor.
-I want a teacher who will explain word by word in a sentence and also who will teach me about writing. Friendly respectful professor.
