I used to be fluent after my two-month volunteership in Costa Rica in 1994. I began learning Spanish in middle school and it was one of my majors at University. I worked for the government in the late 90's as one of two Spanish speaking call center reps. Unfortunately and to my great sadness, foreign language is a skill and when I left Buffalo in 1996, I lost opportunities to continue practicing. My life and a job has brought me back to Buffalo. This new job is forcing me to bring my Spanish back up to fluency. I miss Spanish terribly and now have a boss to kick my butt to get it back, but I need help. Thank you.

Dear Potential Teacher(s),
I am a beginner and would like to learn Slovenian for purposes of travel and I am planning to live there for about 1 year (in Ljubljana).
Since I have little experience with the language I would need instruction in all areas..gramma r, reading, writing, listening, and most importantly speaking.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as is possible to learning this language; I'll be working and travel is involved so I need to be realistic but I feel I need to practice it every day. ..if I could devote at least an hour a day I would be happy.
So I think it's important to have a teacher who is patient but who will also push me (in class and also with outside assignments); who will give correction and focus mainly on speaking and listening.
