I am a beginner Slovak student. I had an exchange student from Slovakia live with me for a year, and we ended up being good friends. I went to visit her there and absolutely loved it. I'm going back in a few months and would LOVE to be at least moderately conversationa l. I know extremely basic things and random vocabulary. I'm interested in learning Farsi. I am on a beginner level. I'm interested in learning the language because I love foreign languages, I love learning new things, and I love to travel. I want to learn how to read, write, and speak Farsi. I would like to dedicate a about 2 - 4 hours per week on my language lessons. The qualities in a teacher I'm looking for is someone who is very knowledgable in the language as well as the culture. Also, someone who is willing to us every minute of our lessons to the fullest of their ability. I want to learn as much as I can.

To Whom it May Concern:
I am pursuing a doctorate degree in music and need to pass a language translation proficiency exam. For this exam I will need to translate a scholarly music article from French to English within an hour. I WILL be able to use a dictionary, however, I have NO French experience. I took two years of Spanish in highschool, but I'll be starting from scratch with French. My intention is to meet at least once a week, maybe twice, with the goal of taking my exam in November. I am looking for a French tutor who can help me with translation skills as soon as possible.

Hello I am a beginner, I have tried to teach myself by using tapes and cd's. I fell that I will learn better with a personal instructor. I would like to learn this language because I have friends that I would like to comunicate with, that do not speak English. I also think that it will be a good skill to have.

I am a beginning Swahili student, I am learning the foreign language because I lived in Tanzania and want to go back, but I am not proficient in the language. I need improvement all over! I would like to dedicate 6 hours a week to actual classes, maximum plus homework etc., I would like a patient teacher that is preferrably a native speaker from Tanzania mainland or Zanzibar.
