We are looking for a tutor to help our 10 year old daughter (entering into 5th grade)who just started to learn Latin in school. At school they began last year, half-way through the year, so she has had 1/2 year of Latin.
We would prefer to either come to your home or meet at a general location such as a college library or a school if you are a teacher with the ability to use a room after-hours. Please also note that my husband or I will also be staying during the tutoring session.
W e would like someone who can combine the 'typical' tutoring with some games and fun ways to learn since this does help children to stay interested!

I learned french from grade school through college, however, since graduation I have not had anyone to speak with and I have lost a lot of vocabulary. I have always had an interest in foreign language, but my life has taken me other directions. My husband knows my love for culture and agrees to take lessons with me. I would like to learn conversationa l spanish and french (again). My husband is a beginner of both languages. He was taught in high school only. We would like to spend a couple hours a week to learning Spanish first. Then later on take french lessons. I am going to be inviting friends to learn with us, so we are looking for a teacher who is fun, patient, and one who does not mind a group.
