I have a lot of Arabic friends. I have picked up a couple very simple words here and there from hearing them talk. I have a little book that helps me with phrases. I want to learn so that I can speak to them and understand them. I would like to focus more on conversationa l than the grammatical but I understand you need both to learn the language. I have a full-time job but I have time towards the evenings. I have two of the 7 days off at random. I would like to get as much practice as possible or how much my schedule will allow. I want the teacher to be able to teach me more than what I can learn on my own by reading books. I want to learn to hear, listen, and speak Arabic, not so much write.
