My profficiency is beginner, with a little knowledge. I had taken Russian in school, but have not constructivel y spoken it in 5 years.
I want to learn the language for personal reasons. I would also like to work in Russia someday.
I would like to learn in a private setting during week nights and some weekends.
The teacher should probably be flexible with hours. Grammer is where I have had difficulties in the past.
Above all I'm hoping to learn quickly (catch up with what I have forgotten and perfect the language).

I have studied Spanish as an adult for about 10 years. I have attended language schools in Mexico on 2 ocassions and I have attended the Spanish Institute at South Tahoe Community College for 2 summers in addition to the 3 years of college instruction. Over those 10 years I have been highly motivated to study by myself when not attending classes or traveling in Spanish-speak ing countries. I have been lax in my study for the last year and I feel that some instruction and conversation would jump start my speaking skills. I would like to have some intensive instruction for a few days to a week in a small class. I am able to travel to a city in Oregon or southern Washington to do this. The ideal dates would be July 24-28.

I have had Portuguese lessons in the past but it was a long time ago so I am effectively a beginner.
I wish to learn to speak Portuguese fluently (business and social) because I am planning to move to Portugal to live permanently and to work there later this year.
I am currently not working so am able (and willing) to commit a reasonable amount of time to this - sufficient to learn the language well over the next 2-3 months.
I am looking for a patient and encouraging teacher either in a 1-2-1 setting or a small group lesson.
