I am a beginner. I have been to Asia a few times now and will likely be there on a quarterly basis. I would like to be able to have some basic conversation while there. It would also help to be able to listen during some of our business meetings and at least have an understanding of the discussion without having to wait for the interpreter.

I'm basically a beginner with learning how to speak and write in the Chinese language. My wife is Chinese and currently living in China. She has a job as an English teacher there. We got married in Jiao Zuo city, China a few years ago. The immigration visa process takes time to complete. I can understand and speak some simple Chinese words, but I would like to have a nice teacher to help me learn to speak and write in Chinese while I'm patiently waiting for my wife to be with me later this year. My wife would be so happy, if I were able to speak and write in Chinese. I have tried to teach myself with simple Chinese teaching books, but I find it difficult to learn the language properly.

I have no proficiency at all in Arabic but I am very interested in learning. The reason for my interest is career advancement.
