I am looking to teach English in Japan starting inJanuary 2007. I will be returning to the states in the beginning of August 2006 and wish to learn enough basic Japanese to get me around the country. I have no experience in speaking the Korean language. I am looking dedicate 3 nights a week until I leave for Japanese. Hello,
My name is Jonathan Simpson. I have been studying Russian for just over 4 years. I speak on a low advanced level, although I need a lot of brushing up on my conversationa l skills since I have not spoken much in 3 months. I completed my last semester of college in Russia through a study abroad program. While there I passed the level one portion of the Russian Language State exam.
I am planning on going to Russia in early September to get certified to teach English and try to find work in the former USSR.
I would like to focus on improving my conversationl skills and improving my writing skills. I would also like to work on building my vocabulary through simulating every day situations (for instance, what kind of vocabulary would I need when I am checking my bags at the airport?)
I would like to meet two to three hours per week starting as early as next week.

Level of Spanish I would say intermediate~ Studied Spanish in college and abroad some years back. Use basic Spanish daily and need to expand my vocab., verb conjugations, etc. 1-2 hours weekly in instruction. Heavy on conversation and listening.
