I'm a beginner, but a fairly confident beginner. I lived in Beijing for all of last year, and studied Chinese on-and-off while I was there. However, most of the studying I did was targeted towards daily, spoken Chinese. For that reason, I have a better mastery of tones than most beginners (though certainly far from perfect) have better listening comprehension than my own speaking level might indicate, and know a fair amount of functional Chinese. However, I can read almost nothing because I concentrated almost exclusively on spoken Chinese while I was in Beijing.

(1). I have little words in Estonian, 'Beginner'.
(2). Why do I want to learn, I have friends in Estonia and I want to communicate with them in Estonia, plus I spent 4 months in Estonia and love the folks and country, I wish to return.
(3). I need help in all areas of estonian language, grammer, conversation, etc. I would like to learn to write and speak.
(4). I am retired and can afford exess time in studies. As I do now.
(5). Qualities.... To be able to hold conversation, understanding and talking at least 75% of the time.

I've had 24 credit hours of Japanese language study - 8 hours of Elementary Japanese at my home school in the US and 16 hours of lower intermediate Japanese at the Tokyo International University.
That being said, I'll say that I'm a bit rusty since it's been 2 years since I was in Japan studying. I'm looking to possibly work my way up back to, and beyond if possible, my previous language level. I'm intending to continue my official education in Japanese in hopes of becoming fluent.
I' m primarily interested in the spoken langauge, though any help on the written would be appreciated.
I've found it discouraging trying to find tutors in my area, so I'm willing to work over the internet. I have access to the internet as well as to a scanner and anything probably anything else necessary.
