I am traveling to Croatia this fall and am interested in some intensive learning in Serbo-Croatia n. I am a beginner and have only listened to tape courses and know I will learn much more with a real teacher.My family came from the Dalmatian islands in 1880s to the Pacific Northwest and I would like very much to be able to communicate on a basic level when I see the country.
I am fluent in German and enjoy languages in general and learn quickly. I would like to do weekly lessons in a small class, or perhaps private depending on cost. A native speaker is my preference for a teacher, ideally in central or north Seattle.

I am a beginner, I know a few words. I want to learn Japanese because one day I want to move to Japan. I need probably more help in writing Japanese kanji (the lettering is called Kanji right??) if it is possible, if not then I need help in pernouncing words, also memorizing words. I will dedicate as much time as I have to to learn Japanese. I also would prefer a teacher that is patient, i'm sort of difficult to teach (sometimes).

I am finishing beginner level and am taking Portuguese as a career advacement. I would like to have lessons with others, as a group. I would like to dedicate at least 4 hours a week. I am looking for the teacher to used different methods of teaching, like videos, audio, etc. Also for the teacher to be patient. I would like to be able to practice a lot more than I do now.
