My name is Emily and I would like to learn the Czech/Slovak language. My employer is a native of the Czech Replubic and I would like to be able to communicate with her in her native tongue. She is trying to teach me the basics, but doesn't really have the time to dedicate to my learning. I am a full-time ESL teacher in a city public schools, and will be going to China this summer to stay and teach there for more than one year. I studied Chinese in college but have not taken any courses in two years. I am forgetting the language fast. I did get a minor in Chinese, and studied up through the 400 level classes. I need help in conversationa l Chinese the most. I would like to have a lesson once a week in person until the time I leave this summer. I prefer each lesson to be one to one a a half hours in length. I am looking for a tutor who is patient and enthusiastic about teaching.
