I am a beginner. I am looking to start learning Arabic for future career opportunities but am currently working full time. I need to learn all aspects of the Arabic writing inlcuding grammar, conversation, pronunciation , political and religious vocabulary. I am willing to dedicate about 10 hours a week to learning. I have never learned sign language before (other than memorizing the signing alphabet when I was little, but that doesn't really count). I am not deaf, but I have a good friend who is, and I'd like to learn sign language so I will be able to sign with her and with other deaf members of my community. I'll dedicate as much time as needed to learning, as long as I can continue to improve. I'd like a teacher who is fun and outgoing, so he/she will be able to laugh with me when I make silly errors, but be serious in helping my progress. I'm open to taking a class with multiple students or doing one-on-one, as long as classes are taught in person.

i can speak and understand basic cantonese and would like to become fluent. I need to improve my conversation and am less interested (at least now) in reading/writi ng.
