I know very little Tagalog - I am a beginner and born in the US
Why? Two main reasons: 1) intellectual interest in learning a foreign language 2) I am married to a Filipina, and her whole large family speaks Tagalog. I would get lots of opportunities for practice and to use what I have learned
I can spend 3 to 5 hours a week, and am looking for private lessons so I can learn more quickly.

Hello,
I currently live in Miami Beach but am from Switzerland. My father is from Sarajevo and I have always heard him and other members of my family speaking Bosnian (Serbo-Croati an).
Although I believe I understand a lot of this language, I would really like to correctly learn this language to be able to communicate with my family in Bosnia.
I am bi-lingual in English and French, speak Italian and German and am currently studying Spanish.

I live in the D.C. area and am interested in learning Swahili. I am moving to Nairobi for work some time in the next year and would like to learn as much Swahili as possible before I leave. I am a beginner Swahili student with little to no previous Swahili experience. I would like to learn conversation, vocabulary, and grammar. I know three to six other individuals who are interested in taking part in a small group class for beginners. We have a place to meet, but are just looking for a teacher.
