I am a government employee seeking to learn Serbo-Croatia n for two primary reasons: career advancment and to reintroduce the language into my family. I must confess that I have no experience in the language, but my serious study habits will more than make up for the lack of experience. I maintained a 3.9 in undergraduate school, and I am currently maintaining a 4.0 as a graduate student in security policy studies. In addition, as a prior active duty Marine Officer, I am capable of a degree of dedication unparalleled by most of my peers.
As a full-time employee and part-time grad student, I am seeking a teacher who doesn't mind conducting night classes. I am open to suggestions as to how often I should meet with the instructor; they know more than I do about the best methods for learning this language. However, I am more inclined to the idea of meeting once a week for two to three hours, the purpose of which would be to give me a sound base to run with the rest of the week. (The frequency with which I meet the teacher can increase between graduate semesters.)

I work in Irvine, California, USA for a Japanese company where many employees are of Japanese descent. The non-Japanese speaking employees would like to learn some basic communication skills related to every-day use and business use. Proficiency level is beginner. We would like to learn weekly for about 90 minutes each lesson. The amount of lessons is undertermined at this time. The amount of students is also undetermined at this time, but I would guess 5 to 10.
Can you please share with me what options we have for learning Japanese through you.

I am a beginner and have been studying Russian for about 4 years. I am teaching myself through books. I had a tutor previously. I am learning the language because I am interested in learning another language. I speak English and Spanish. I have books and would like help with my lessons - grammar and mostly prononunciati on.
I am looking for a flexible teacher, who can structure the lessons to what I am looking for. At the same time, I would like some direction on the best way to study. I prefer someone in the St. Paul or suburban area if possible who could come to my home.
