I am at the beginner's level of learning Ukrainian. I know how to write the letters and read them. I know some words, as I have started lessons (but never finsihed) and my family is from Ukraine, but I do not know enough or understand enough to get by in a full conersation.
I'd like to learn Ukrainian because I hope to one day visit my family's native land, and to also communicate with my Dido and Baba in their native language.
I'd like to set aside a weekly time to learn. Also I'd like inexpensive lessons as I am a Graduate Student at the University fo Massachusetts Boston, and so I do not have much money between school, rent and bills.
I am looking for a patient, friendly teacher who can help me learn and help build my confidence in my learning the laguage so that I feel comfortable trying to speak it.

I am an advanced beginner. I am Polish but have no living Polish-speaki ng family members. I have been in a Polish Folkdance group for almost 3 years. All of my friends in the group speak Polish, so they have taught me a lot, and I have tried to teach myself as much as possible through online programs here and there. I would love to speak better in Polish so I can communicate better with my friends, and I want to spend a semester studying abroad in Poland so I would like to have a better grasp on the language. I think I need improvement in almost all areas of the language, especially conversation. I am willing to spend as much time as is necessary studying the language. I am looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about educating people in the Polish language, and who is flexible with lesson times.

I am a complete beginner in the language. I know very few phrases/words that I have acquired from travels to Kenya. I have visited Kenya twice now. My friend and I are possibly planning on living in Kenya for an extended period of time. Therefore, I see it as a neccessity to learn the language. I feel that learning from someone that speaks the language would be much easier and more beneficial than trying to teach myself from a book/guide.
