I am a beginning learner of Japanese who, along with my fiancee (also a beginner) would like to expand our knowledge of the Japanese language to coincide with our increasing interest with Japanese modern pop culture and historical culture. We have a trip to Japan in the works after we're married and would like to make sure we miss out on as little as possible by decreasing the language barrier.
W e would like to study as many parts of the Japanese language as possible (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension ), and will likely supplement our lessons with extensive home study with other materials. Our interest in an instructor is due to our belief that human interaction is important while learning, and that proper direction from another person can be a great motivator in the learning process.
W e'd like to meet for 1-2 hours per session 1-2 times a week. Although there are some exceptions, we are mostly very flexible with our schedules. We are looking for an instructor with first hand knowledge of the Japanese language and culture who can offer deeper insight into the language and provide us with goals, guidance and direction.

A great admirer of Arab culture, I would like learn to speak and write elegant, grammatically correct Egyptian Arabic, but I also need to be proficient in colloquial usages as well. I would be a beginner in Egyptian Arabic. I have visited Egypt and have formed close connections there. This past February, I became a Muslim (officially) at Al Azhar. Language is one of my great interests, and I have studied Latin, Greek, Hebrew, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. I'm not sure how many hours per week I should commit to, but I think I should be able to spend 1-2 hours per week with a teacher (at present) and that I should be able to dedicate 2-3 hours per week to study on my own. I am a mature adult gentleman, an editor by profession.

Dear Sir or Madame,
I am looking for a personal tutor in Farsi language (Persian). I am a businessman located in Houston, Texas and I would like to learn Farsi in a small group (2-3 other students in an instruction group) or individually. I have no experience with the language but would like to learn it for career advancement and to position myself for future business opportunities if relations between our countries were to allow U.S. businesses to operate in Iran. I am seeking one or two class sessions a week, each lasting for approximately 2 hours, with an additional few hours of 'homework' each week. The schedule should be flexible. The times should be from approximately 4 PM to 6 PM on weekdays.
The instructor should be a native-level speaker with a good understanding of Farsi business terminology and customs.
In addition to learning the language, I would like to learn about the cultural norms present in the society.
